Predictions for 2012

The year 2012 will not be the end of the world as many soothsayers predict.  As I say in a chapter of the book, “Transforming Through 2012,” on 12/21/2012 the banks will be open and the buses will be running.  The end of the 5,125 cycle of the Mayan Calendar this year means that a new 5,125 cycle will begin.  

Yes, there may be heavy politics, world tension and financial difficulty, but there is a  New Paradigm Shift happening and our thinking is evolving and changing.  In personal finances, take calculated risks and spend on the conservative side. Be thinking of a foreign language or a computer language you would like to learn.  In romance, get to know your lover for a while before you jump in and make a long-term commitment.  

This year there is an emphasis on holistic healing, Eastern medicine and energy work.  When Saturn moves into Scorpio in the fall there could be announcements of improved cures for AIDS, cancer and other current fatal diseases. We will value our families and communities even more and our social networking will become ever more sophisticated, connecting us with more than 70% of the World. 

In the Numerology,  Five (5) is the number for the universal year of 2012.  We will see more expansion, freedom and change. We will feel rejuvenated after the repressive four (4) year of 2011. Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn will happen several times in 2012 so we will hear lots of exciting news and turnarounds in the World.  International trade will flourish and there will be new trends in world imports and exports.          

Aries – Life becomes exciting with Uranus in your sign.  You could do an about face and move in an entirely new direction this year. You will increase your personal self worth as well as your financial holdings. In mid-March you will hear from a long lost relative or lover. In the past couple years you have learned some heavy lessons about romance.  By the end of the year you will find yourself in a happy, healthy relationship

Taurus – Both luck and creativity will be with you, especially during the first half of the year.  Make a fresh start! You will earn extra money using a skill from the past.  Watch out for weight gain.  Keep your deepest secrets to yourself.  You could find yourself cast in a caregiver role. Create a savings plan and stick to it.  The money will be there to make that dream come true in 2013!  

Gemini –You will feel alive and optimistic as June rapidly approaches.  Jupiter will bring you a new 12-year cycle at that time and luck is with you! You will discover a hidden financial treasure or gain some well-deserved wisdom.  In June the “Transit of Venus” in Gemini will open new doors! You will have a terrific Mother/Fathers Day this year and at Thanksgiving you will make a mature romantic choice.   

Cancer – You will gain personal benefits from group involvement. You will meet fascinating people and a “soul-mate” may appear. You are redefining and reinventing your career and in June or July you will land a better job or go into business for yourself.  In January handle an unresolved financial matter. You will see your children “growing up” and you will have a better relationship with them.   

Leo – You are reaching a pinnacle in your road toward success and now is the time to give back.   Learn the balance between being overly nice and overly assertive.  2012 could be one of your most successful years yet!  Try to resolve a past difficulty with a relative.  You will benefit from the Mercury Retrogrades in both July and November. Don’t let money slip through your fingers!.

Virgo – You are learning that the Laws of Attraction do work and some influential people will support your efforts. Relatives from far away places stay in touch and you could go on an unexpected long-distance trip. Cash could become limited during the year and you may have to draw upon your resources. Resist the urge to spend on impulse. Don’t expect others to live up to your high ideals. 

Libra – Presently you are leaving a 3-year period of hard learned lessons and matters improve as the months go by.. Toward the end of winter you will see positive results from an investment.  With transiting Uranus in your 7^th house of relationships, love is fun and exciting but may be elusive.  Maintain a professional work relationship with co-workers and don’t do their work.  A job in the health care industry will work out best for you..

Scorpio – You will be making connections with many people and will see changes in your workplace and community.  By spring your money supply will increase greatly, but be careful of combining finances with someone you are not married to. When Neptune moves out of your 4^th house in February, your wish to relocate will come true! By the end of the year you will be right where you want to be. 

Sagittarius – You will experience greater satisfaction in your work this year.  In April you may witness big changes starting to happen.  The Lunar Eclipse in your sign in June will bring back joy and happiness and a better outlook for the future.  New people will come into your life, including a romantic partner.  Invest for the future and take a conservative financial approach. A wish from the past comes true.     

Capricorn – Lately you may have felt that work has been an uphill battle.  By late spring a change will happen. As you send out more resumes, and a job with more freedom and creativity will come your way.  A current or future romance delightful and satisfying. You will hear good news from your children and think about preparing scrapbooks with family photos and special treasures for them.    

Aquarius – Spend more quality time at home with your family. You may purchase a second property.  For you, property value moves up this year. Keep your bills organized to avoid late payments. By the end of the year you could reach a pinnacle in your career and receive a raise or promotion.  This year take more time to meditate, come to terms with your past and explore your spirituality. By mid-year there is a potential for a new romantic friend to enter your life.

Pisces – In 2012 travel is highlighted as well as the completion of an academic degree or certification. Remove clutter from your home or office – anything you sell or give away clears out old energy so your income may increase.  Real estate, debt or taxes could be a challenge this year.  You attract influential people into your life and may be asked to lead or participate in a not-for-profit organization.
